Oil prices hit 7-month high

Crude oil prices ticked up to approximately $48 per barrel on Tuesday, the highest level in the past seven months. Supply disruptions in major oil-producing regions such as Canada, Nigeria, and Venezuela have helped to prop up prices at least temporarily.
